Wendy Davis Paintings

I am Wendy Davis— a self taught Pacific Northwest oil painter/artist. I create paintings leaning toward expressionist and sometimes abstract style. I push for loose brush strokes, and dramatic expression throughout the painting. I often like to push the colors and exaggerate light and shadow. I love to challenge myself, and try new subject matter often.

Painting excites me and brings me joy! I am grateful for, and inspired by the Pacific Northwest landscape. I often paint places where I have lived or spent time.
